Workshops
Following the collection of material through research, a number of hands-on workshops were organized, bringing together, in each participating country, the persons interviewed (volunteers) under research and key members of the partner (theater company). The workshops encouraged the volunteers to discuss the experiences they included in the interviews and constructed a story that brought together different experiences, enhanced with elements of the social, cultural and emotional background of the home and host countries. The idea of “one Europe” without borders ran through these stories, to assess the feasibility of this in social and cultural terms, and the future of free movement of people across the EU countries. The workshops involved the method of “theatre game” so as all the participants are a part of it and creativity to be encouraged.
